Petra was the second Deathmatch map to be released for Overwatch. I had a lot of fun working on this map and it had some fun challenges like a collapsible floor in the center of the map that Lan-Fang Chang did a ton of work to set up!
This was again a map designed by Michael McInerney. I blocked out the map and finalized most of the architecture and terrain, Separate rock assets were made previously by Bram Eulaers and additional close backdrop rocks were made by Lucas Annunziata. Additional wall painting textures were made by Llia Yu and Lucas Annunziata. Credits for the excavation props goes to Lindsay Johnson and Nathan Bowden and the tent and baloon assets were made by Gaëtan Montaudouin.
